Colorful Lullaby

Twenty-four karat gold, acrylic, ink and resin, worked into a surface that hums rather than sings. A lullaby is sung over someone who is not yet asleep and not quite awake, and this piece lives in that same hour. The colors do not compete. They settle against one another the way a song settles a child, and the gold moves through them without ever taking the lead. It is a quiet piece, made for a room where a person wants their heart rate to come down.
