Waves of Time

Some pieces don’t ask to be finished, they ask to be returned to. Waves of Time stayed on my studio floor for months, taking new layers the way a shoreline takes new tide lines — never erasing what came before, only adding another pass over it. What you see on the surface is not one moment. It’s every session stacked on top of the last, still legible if you know how to look — the way a wave carries the memory of every wave before it, even as it breaks new.
