Rainbow Map

Hemp and jute, ink, wood and raw edges, layered and cured ten to twenty times. Two sides, each with its own character. A map is a promise that somewhere can be found again. This one is made of color rather than coordinates, which is how most people actually navigate their lives. The curing is what gives it authority: twenty passes, each one covering the last without erasing it, until the surface has the depth of something that has been somewhere.
