Blue Meadow

Ink and acrylic on a wooden frame. A meadow in blue is a meadow remembered rather than seen, because the color has already moved it into the past. The marks are loose and unhurried and the surface keeps its air. It is a quiet, generous piece, the kind that gives a room somewhere to rest its eye.
