Golden Reef

Golden Reef took four years to finish. Every drop from every painting made in those years left its mark on it. It grew silently under our feet. Its red and gold base brings the colors to life, like hovering underwater over a reef. From the Great Barrier Reef to the neon reefs of Florida, I have explored the oceans and the unmatched beauty of the intricate lives of these majestic, magical species. The back holds earthy tones in an abstract yin and yang: the eye of the universe. Two sides, two works, one soul, to be turned and rediscovered over time. Recently exhibited at the Miami Beach Convention Center ahead of Art Basel, where I was awarded by the Mayor of Miami Beach. A collectible, museum-scale work for double-height spaces, grand lobbies, museums and high-end residences.
